*Updated 6/9* Upcoming Seattle Shows

Really diverse list of shows this week--in terms of both genre and venue. Fans of Seattle's Iron Lung Records have the chance to see experimental noise duo Mutant Video tonight in support of California punks Ceremony, and White Wards and Dreamdecay on Wednesday night. Former Craft Spells drummer Peter Michel, aka Hibou, is finally releasing his newest EP, Dunes, at the Urban Outfitters in the U (listen to the first single, "Sunder", here); Parquet Courts are coming back to town, this time to Neumos with Naomi Punk; and Secret Colors (aka Matt Lawson) is finally releasing his new record, Days Off, and the official release show is going down on the 14th at Cairo. The first single, King, finds him taking a more structured and beat heavy approach and I'm super excited to hear the full record. There are a bunch of phenomenal national and international acts as well: Eleanor Friedberger is coming to Neumos on Wednesday; Holy Other, Mount Kimbie, and Vinyl Williams are playing on Friday; and psychobilly gurus the Nekromatix are gonna to be doing their part to bring weighted hair oil and pompadours back in style over at El Corazon.
