*Updated 6/16* Upcoming Seattle Shows

First things first: tonight (Sunday) is going to be amazing. Golden Gardens, Jetman Jet Team (see our pieces here and here) with Space Waves. This promises to be an stellar evening of shoegaze and dream-pop and all three artists have new records out so don't miss it! On Monday, SF's Burnt Ones are coming to town with a cast of awesome local bands: Detective Agency, Stickers, Pony Time--0% filler; the following evening one of our newer venues, Therapy Lounge, is hosting the hi-jinx of William Statler (aka Punishment) with Chastity Belt and Dude York. Tender Hips (who just put out City EP, one of our favorite records of May) will be at Heartland on Wednesday with fuzzed-out surf-poppers Acapulco Lips; Flat Field Records is celebrating the release of their Twitch and Gloam compilation, which was awarded album of the month by CityArts, with an evening of music from several of the featured artists on Thursday; and Imaginary Pants, the excellent indie pop collaboration between Jon Manning (Lost Sound Tapes, Blanket Truth) and Vancouver's Rose Melberg will be returning from their New England mini-tour with a homecoming at the Dog Dog. Finally, fewer local acts this week, but Camera Obscura with Marissa Nadler, the Dandy Warhols, and Bellamine are all worth mentioning. Personally, I think the possibility of hearing new Pure Bathing Culture from the Portland band's upcoming Moon Tides LPs is reason enough to head to the Bellamine. More below. Have a great week!
