Great local stuff: Hush Hush
Records’ flagship act Kid Smpl is taking the stage on Tuesday with Algebraic
Satellite (a side project of Anna Moore, aka Lobsana ) as the opener. Sandrider
is flying high on the recent release of ‘Godhead’ and will be performing a free
in-store on the 5 at Easy Street Records to celebrate; Health
Problems and Thee Samedi are playing a benefit for Hollow Earth Radio at the
Nut Hole on the 6th; and Golden Gardens is headlining a nice looking
show at Q-café to support the release of a new zine that PreAmp is putting
together.
Last but certainly not
least, The Psychedelic Freak Out festival is going down this Friday and
Saturday and will feature 38 bands at 4 different venues. Tickets are available
in a bunch of options, but the 2 day pass is only $17.55 with service fee.
