This Month In Photos: November 2013

November was a busy month! From Glasser at Fred Wildlife Refuge on the 2nd, to Parzival's cd release party for his new album "Pisces Rising" on the 30th, we enjoyed some really great music. Enjoy the photos, and we'll see you out there in December!

Barsuk Records' 15th Anniversary Shows: Night 1 at the Showbow at the Market, 11/7, featuring (clockwise from top left) The Prom, Mates of States, surprise guests Death Cab For Cutie, and Nada Surf playing Let's Go in its entirety.

Barsuk Records Celebration, Night 2 at The Neptune, featuring (clockwise from top left) Sunset Valley, Minor Alps, David Bazan supported by the Passenger String Quartet, and The Long Winters complete with founding member Sean Nelson, playing When I Pretend To Fall in its entirety.

Barsuk Records Celebration, Night 4 at The Tractor Tavern, featuring (clockwise from top middle) Jesse Sykes and The Sweet Hereafter playing Reckless Burning in its entirety, Laura Gibson, Rocky Votolato with brother Cody Votolato, and surprise guest Ben Gibbard.

Guitar Worship Service at The Josephine, 11/9, featuring 613, Cutting Head, John Krausbauer with Lisa Nguyen, Pink void, Power Skeleton, Michael Sauter, Sioux City Pete, #tits, and Terminal Fuzz Terror.

Jessie Ware performs an in-store at Sonic Boom just before her show at The Neptune, 11/15.

Juliana Barwick played the Fremont Abbey on 11/22 with Hannah Epperson.

Vestals opened Wire's Drill Festival at Neumos on 11/23.

Chastity Belt was the next band at Wire's Drill Festival at Neumos. Page Hamilton of Helmet joined them on stage for a cover of Wire's song "Mannequin".

Wire topped off the night with an exceptional performance.

Parzival played a cd release show for his new work, "Pisces Rising" at The Velocity Dance Center on 11/30. Plenty of blues dancing a love at this show!
