SWL #3: Dude York, "And Andrew Too"

Dude York demands to be noticed and the whole country seems to be getting the message. The trio play the type of energetic, dirty pop-punk/rock that makes you want to flail uncontrollably at the show, but whose melodies stand up equally well at home too. “And Andrew Too” is just one great example of their sound off of last year’s “Escape from Dude York” EP. Clocking in at just 1:59 seconds, it features the kind of take-no-prisoners instrumental work and impassioned howling vocals that have put them on everyone's watch list in 2013.
