This Month In Photos: February 2014

Another month of great shows, art, and record shops. March is certainly shaping up to be a good one too; for those who haven't heard, our first NGD Seattle-presented show is taking place at Highline Bar on Saturday, March 22nd with Vibragun, Wind Burial, Nostalgist, and Levator. Amongst other things we'll be celebrating the release of our second local music compilation, "Send Me To Dream", which will be debuting soon. RSVP here and come hand with us!

These Months in Photos: December & January

December was a whirlwind and frankly, I just didn't have time to get out to many shows or write much in the blog. January has been much better for time management, huzzah! We saw some really great shows these past two months, including watching dudes bouncing around gleefully in the pitch dark to Pete Swanson's unique brand of dancey noise at Chop Suey; the double drumming bonanza of Gems at The Josephine; the last show of Lou Lou Hernandez at Cafe Racer; and Wind Burial slay at the Sunset Tavern. November was a busy month! From Glasser at Fred Wildlife Refuge on the 2nd, to Parzival's cd release party for his new album "Pisces Rising" on the 30th, we enjoyed some really great music. Enjoy the photos, and we'll see you out there in December!

Chastity Belt was the next band at Wire's Drill Festival at Neumos. Page Hamilton of Helmet joined them on stage for a cover of Wire's song "Mannequin".

Wire topped off the night with an exceptional performance.

Parzival played a cd release show for his new work, "Pisces Rising" at The Velocity Dance Center on 11/30. Plenty of blues dancing a love at this show!

This Month in Photos: October 2013

October was a great month for music, starting with the new Macefield Music Festival in Ballard. Macefield was held at the Tractor, Sunset, and Conor Byrne, and featured bands like Children of Kids, Lures, Princess, and many more! Then there was a great series of in-store performances at Everyday Music. We visited a couple Capitol Hill venues we haven't been to before: Cock Pit and Velocity Dance Center. To top it all off, we saw the dynamic band Haim. DAMN, those girls rocked Neumos. Looking forward to what November has in store for us!
